The Fraser Valley Maternity Group is happy to announce a new collaborative project in maternity care for the Central Fraser Valley, providing pregnant women with the expertise of physicians and midwives in one comprehensive and supportive program. We provide care to pregnant women and their families through pregnancy, birth and the early post partum period.

All fees covered by the BC Medical Services Plan.

We are a group of Family Physicians and Midwives who share care of Maternity clients in Abbotsford and Mission.  We provide comprehensive prenatal, labour, and postpartum care to our patients, and share a family-centered, non-interventionist approach to care.  Hospital care is provided at the recently opened Abbotsford Regional Hospital, with 30 well-appointed individual Maternity rooms, a wonderful nursing staff, and full time OB, Anesthesia and Pediatric coverage.  Our midwives offer home birth to appropriate clients, as well as home-based postpartum and lactation support.  We are working to get funding for Doulas (labour support), free prenatal classes, and other educational items for women and their families.
